Chapter 4

Early in the morning, Ji Bai washed up early and went downstairs for breakfast.

Auntie’s cooking was really good, and the breakfast was particularly generous, with toast bread, egg, soy milk and xiaolongbao¹ which was a combination of East and West cuisine.

“Xie Sui Shou²”- raw was 谢随收 which in Romanization is Xie Sui Shou also meaning Xie to thank, to follow comply and shou (used on address line after name), the word if read as one could also mean thank you. so I really don’t know what this mean but my guess is the girl was just respectfully calling Xie Sui’s name
